Simpson Anchors THDB25178CS Description
The Simpson Strong-Tie THDB25178CS Titen HD heavy-duty screw anchor with countersunk head is part of a family of products that sets the standard for high-performance anchoring and ease of installation. Designed for use in dry, interior, noncorrosive environments or temporary outdoor applications, the countersunk Titen HD offers industry-leading performance even in seismic conditions. The countersunk head style is for applications that require a flush-mount profile. Countersinking also leaves a cleaner surface appearance for exposed through-set applications. The anchor head’s T-30 6-lobe drive installs easily and is less prone to stripping than traditional recessed heads.

- Qualified for static and seismic loading conditions
- Standard fractional sizes, hole size same as anchor size
- No special drill bit required — designed to install using standard-sized ANSI tolerance drill bits
- Removable — ideal for temporary anchoring or applications where fixtures may need to be moved
- T-30 6-lobe drive reduces driver-bit cam-outs, resulting in easier installation (One bit tip included in each box)
- Countersunk head allows for flush-mount applications that are not possible with a hex head
- Serrated teeth on the tip of the Titen HD screw anchor facilitate cutting and reduce installation torque
- 1/8" minimum hole depth overdrill required
