The Simpson Strong-Tie BP5/8SKTHDG is a hot-dip galvanized bearing plate kit designed for 5/8" anchor bolts, providing a greater bearing surface and enhanced corrosion resistance.
Simpson Strong-Tie BP5/8SKTHDG Includes
- (50) Bearing Plates
- (XX) 1/4" x 1 1/2" Strong-Drive SDS Connector screws
Simpson Strong-Tie BP5/8SKTHDG Features
- Replaces standard cut-washers while providing a greater bearing surface
- Sized for most common anchor bolt sizes: 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8" and 1"
- May be ordered HDG for higher corrosion resistance

- Fastening wood to concrete or masonry
Simpson Strong-Tie BP5/8SKTHDG Installation Overview
- Position edge of plate washer within 1/2" of sheathed edge of sill plate for shearwall applications.
- Use 1/4" x 1 1/2" Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws for lateral resistance when 5/8"-diameter sill holes are overdrilled.
- Tighten each anchor bolt with a nut and BP.
