- Drill pilot hole through facade material and into backup material to specified depth
- Position drive end of the Heli-Tie fastener in the installation tool and insert into pilot hole
- Drive the tie with SDS-plus rotohammer in hammer mode until countersunk below surface
- Patch the hole in the facade with matching masonry mortar
