The Simpson HS24 Hurricane Tie is designed to attach the bottom chord of a truss or rafter to double 2x4 top plates, providing resistance against wind and seismic forces.

Simpson Strong-Tie HS24 Installation Overview
- Position the HS24 Hurricane Tie on the bottom chord of the truss or rafter.
- Align the tie with the double 2x4 top plates.
- Secure using the specified fasteners: (8) 0.131 x 1-1/2 and (2) 0.131 x 2-1/2 slant to rafters/truss, and (8) 0.131 x 2-1/2 to plates.
