The LSCZ adjustable stair-stringer connector provides a concealed connection between stair stringers and carrying headers or rim joists, offering versatility and corrosion resistance with its ZMAX finish.

- (1) Adjustable Stair-Stringer Connector
Simpson LSCZ Features
- Replaces additional framing and toe-nailing
- Suitable for most installations on 2x10 or 2x12 header/rim joist
- May be installed flush with the top of the carrying member or lower on the face
- Interchangeable for left or right applications
- Features a ZMAX coating for additional corrosion protection

- Stair construction: Connects stair stringers to headers or rim joists
- Interior and exterior applications requiring corrosion-resistant connectors
Simpson LSCZ Installation Overview
- Use all specified fasteners
- Position the stair stringer with the LSC on the carrying member to verify where the bend should be located
- Tabs on the LSC must be positioned to the inside of the stairs
- Install the fastener into the bottom edge of the stringer in the second-to-last hole
- For LVL or LSL stringers, consider flange protrusion and fastener length
