Simpson Strong-Tie KBS1Z Installation Overview
- Use all specified fasteners.
- For angles other than 45°, bend KBS1Z along slots to the desired angle (bend one time only).
- Install (2) KBS1Z on each end of brace for equal-width members.
- Install a single KBS1Z on each end of brace for 2x knee braces.
- Install in pairs for beam-to-post connections.
