- Install nails with a powered nail tool, ensuring face protection
- Adjust nail tool pressure to avoid overdriving nails
- Insert at least one 8d x 1 1/2" or 10d x 1 1/2" nail into each nailing grid
- Follow the MMLU Installation and Load Table for additional nails
- Ensure the MMLU height equals or exceeds 60% of the joist height for rotation resistance
