Simpson Strong-Bolt 2 anchors are non-bottom-bearing, ICC-ES code compliant anchors made to be installed in cracked or uncracked concrete. They are qualified for both static and seismic loading and suitable for horizontal, vertical, and overhead applications.

Simpson Strong-Tie STB2-373124SS Installation Overview
- Drill a 3/8" hole into the base material to the specified depth.
- Clean the hole of debris and dust.
- Insert the anchor into the hole and tap it until flush with the surface.
- Tighten the anchor using a wrench to the specified torque of 30 ft. lbs.

NOTE: Do not use an impact wrench to set or tighten anchors. Oversized holes in the base material will make it difficult to set the anchor and will reduce the anchor’s load capacity.
