Simpson Strong-Tie THA213 Installation Overview
- Use all specified fasteners as per guidelines.
- For top flange installation, field-form the straps over the header.
- Install top and face nails according to the provided table.
- For face mount installation, fill the lowest 4 face holes with nails.
- Ensure nails penetrate through the corner of the joist into the header.
- Fill the lowest face nails to achieve uplift loads.
