Simpson Strong-Tie THA218-2 Installation Overview
- Use all specified fasteners.
- For top flange installations, field-form the straps over the header.
- Install top and face nails according to the table.
- For face mount installations, fill the lowest 4 face holes.
- Ensure nails penetrate through the corner of the joist into the header.
- Fill lowest face nails to achieve uplift loads.
